How to Replace '95 Nissan Maxima Rear Brakes

Changing the brakes on a 1995 Nissan Maxima is a task that can be completed by a vehicle owner, saving hundreds of dollars in repair bills. The pads can be changed after removing the wheel and brake caliper. A torque wrench is needed for this task, which can be rented at most auto-parts stores. While the task can be completed by those with minimal automotive repair experience, special care must be taken while working with brake dust. The dust should not be inhaled. Brake system cleaner should be used to clean the dust before working on brake components.
