How to Replace the Wiper Blades on a Nissan Sentra

If you've ever driven in adverse weather conditions, then you know how important it is to have an excellent set of wiper blades so that you can keep your eyes on the road. But if you're looking out at your Nissan Sentra and thinking the repair will take all afternoon, don't fret. In about 10 minutes, you can replace the wiper blades.

Pull the wiper arm away from the windshield so that it is standing up on its own.

Push the release tab so that the old wiper blade becomes free. Then simply slide it down the wiper blade track on the wiper arm. Once removed, you may discard.

Slide the new wiper blade into the wiper arm track until you hear a "click."

Repeat this process on the other wiper arm with a new wiper blade to complete the job.

Check to see if you've properly installed the wiper blades on your Nissan Sentra by using your windshield fluid sprayer located on the steering column of your car. After the fluid is sprayed, the newly installed wiper blades should wipe the windshield clean. If they do not, check to make sure there isn't debris on the rubber of the wiper blade.

Tips & Warnings

If you wish to clean your wiper blades, simply take a rag and some warm water and wipe them down. Do this at the start of each season so that you're prepared for whatever Mother Nature brings your way.
