How to Disconnect Windshield Wipers on a Nissan Frontier

The windshield wipers on a Nissan Frontier should be checked every six months and replaced if necessary. If your Nissan has premium wipers, the thicker rubber compound found on certain premium windshield wipers may last longer than six months. Over time, however, even premium wiper blades can and do wear out. How long your wiper blades will last depends on numerous factors, like the climate you live in, the quality of blade you have on your Frontier and how often you drive (and thus how often you may need to use them). When it comes time to replace the blades, the first thing you're going to need to know is how to disconnect windshield wipers on your Nissan Frontier.
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
1

Pull the wiper blade arm up and away from the windshield.
2

Swing the bottom of the wiper blade away from the wiper blade arm assembly.
3

Push the release tab on the wiper blade, located where the blade connects to the wiper arm.
4

Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm assembly.
