How to Remove Nissan Quest Wheel Covers

Every car has wheels, and they all have different ways to look appealing. In the case of the Nissan Quest, that means a wheel cover that goes over the rim and hides the lug nuts in the process. Although that may be aesthetically pleasing, if you ever need to remove the tire to fix a flat, you first have to remove the wheel cover, the process for which isn't obviously apparent.

1

Pop the hatch on the Quest and pull up the rear panel to expose the tool kit for the vehicle. Open it up to reveal all of the tools that come with the kit. One of those tools is going to look like a rounded trowel, or a flattened spoon, and that's the tool you'll need.
2

Place the edge of the tool between the wheel cover and the rim itself, then twist the tool so that it widens the gap between the rim and the wheel cover. This process is releasing the clips that hold the wheel cover to the rim itself.
3

Work your way around the wheel cover with the tool until the entire wheel cover is free from the rim. The wheel cover should fall off onto the ground, exposing the lugs and allowing you to do whatever you need to do to the wheel.
